Safety Procedures

 

 

Crossing Guards

 

Crossing guards are on duty before and after school on Dedham St. and Upper Falls Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 8:05 - 8:40 am and 3:00 -3:30 pm, and Tuesday at 8:05 - 8:40 am and 12:00 - 1:00 pm.

Buses

 

Children who travel to and from school by bus are expected to take the bus each day unless absent. For any other arrangements, please send a note with your child.

Parking Lot

 

IMPORTANT: Parents and visitors should park on the street during school hours. The school parking lot is for staff use only. Please do not enter the parking lot or use it as a cross through.

Blue Zones

The Blue Zone is designated by signs or by a blue curb or by a combination of both.
You may not park in the Blue zone or the Bus Zone at any time.
The Blue Zone is a city ordinance. Violations are enforceable by a $15.00 fine.

 

Drop Off

You may drop off your child in the Blue Zone.
You may not park in the Blue Zone and walk your child in.
You can not stay and watch your child walk into the school.
Your child should always exit the car on the sidewalk side.
Do not let your child out in the middle of the street.

 

Pick Up

You cannot PARK OR WAIT in the Blue Zone before school is dismissed. This includes "Live Parking."
Pick a time and place after school dismissal to meet your child.
